Leonelli Stator to fit Sherco 250 and 290 models (2001-2013).
Image shows the imbedded 2 "Hall" sensors within the pickup prior to Potting.
The price on this stator repair can vairy depending what is faulty. The 2 hall (pickup) sensors can fail and also the main ignition twin source can fail, the charging coil are less prone to fail.
When sending your stator please include your combined CDI/HT Coil, so that we can test for function.
A basic test on your source coil/s and pickup/s are as follows
Set multimeter to diode test to test the trigger (hall sensors).
Using the Red lead and Black on earth (ground).
Blue no reading
Brown 1601
Black 1626
Now reverse the multimeter leads using Black lead and Red to earth (ground).
Blue 725
Brown 766
Black 767
These readings may not be excactly the same but the pattern should be.
To test the double source coil.
Set Multi meter to ohms 2K (does not matter which way the meter test leads are attached).
White to Red 95.4 ohms
Red to Green 549 ohms
Green to White 637 ohms
All with a 20% tolerance.

We will need to receive your faulty unit for repair. The turn around is approx 5-7 working days from when received to time of return dispatch.
